Instructions for importing/opening files. The most suited format/directory is included in brackets next to the relevant software.
All CDL/EPS files are full scale, AI files are 1-20 scale.
Click on “File” then “Import”
Click on “Options” then clear all check boxes
Click on “OK”
Select the EPS file format
Select the required file from the appropriate directory.
Click on “OK”
Once Imported
Click on “Group” then “Select” then “All”
Click on “Misc then “Sort Group”
Please Note. Casmate may duplicate some objects in black which will need to be deleted.
Click on “File” then “Import”
Select the EPS file formats
Select the required file from the appropriate directory.
Click on “Open”
Click on “Yes” to convert to editable shape
Once Imported
Click on “Edit” then “Select All”
Click on “Arrange” then ”Ungroup”
Right Click on the black colour swatch
Click on “Width” then enter 0.01 then hit the enter button
Press F5 to refresh the drawing
Click on “File” then “Import”
Select the CorelTRACE EPS file format
Select the required file from the appropriate directory.
Click on “Import”
Click on “File” then “Import”
Select the EPS Postscript interpreted file format
Select the required file from the appropriate directory.
Click on “Import”
Click on “File” then “Import”
Select the EPS file format
Select the required file from the appropriate directory
. Click on “OK”
To Change Colour Once Imported
Click on “Edit” then on “Select by Colour”
Click on “RGB 100-100-100”
Click on “Select”
Click on new colour from colour palette
Click on “File” then “Merge”
In the file type box select Illustrator 1.1
In the drives box select your CD drive
Double click on 1-20 folder
Select the required file from the appropriate directory.
Click on “OK”
When prompted ‘Stroke Paths’ Click on ‘Yes’
The vehicle will then need to be sized to full scale, to do this select all objects, click
on Arrange, Resize, Select scale factor 2000%
Freehand (1-20)
Click on “File” then “Preferences”
Put a Check against “Convert Editable EPS When Imported”
Click on “File” then “Import”
Select the required file from the appropriate directory.
Click on “Import”
Click on “File” then “Open” Select the required file from the appropriate directory. Click on “Open”
